"Farm to Food Bank" Film Premier

The connection between a farm and food bank runs deep and is often born from a farmer’s personal conviction to provide their communities with freshly grown, healthy food. In this film, we explore that connection and the vital role local farms play in supporting a food banks’ increasing food needs.

Arnott Duncan from Duncan Family Farms® speaks about their long-standing relationship with local food banks, and why it is part of their mission to give back to the community.

Meet Angie Rodgers from the Arizona Food Bank Network as she discusses the Friends of the Farm program that helps Arizona’s small growers and food-insecure families.

Finally, Dave Richins talks about the partnership between United Food Bank and Nalwoodi Denzhone Community (NDC) that is located on the San Carlos Apache Reservation. Eric Shin and Carrie Curley walk us through how NDC is cultivating farmland to bring back ancestral crops.
