For the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, Local First Arizona is hosting a virtual celebration to discuss how Arizona businesses are addressing climate change. While communities are navigating the extreme impacts of COVID-19, Earth Day is an opportunity to reflect on how to address and adapt to the other major global threats happening right now — the climate crisis — and get inspired by sustainable, resilient businesses across the state.
Join us April 22nd on Facebook Live from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to help raise funds for the statewide Small Business Relief Fund, celebrate 50 years of climate action and resilience in Arizona, and highlight green local businesses across the state.
Our lineup of guests will include:
Hotel Congress of Tucson
Fair Trade Cafe of Phoenix
Arizona Apparel Foundation of Tempe
NexVeg of Flagstaff
Pop-Cycle Shop of Tucson
Friends of the Verde River of Cottonwood
..and special musical guest, Joey Burns of Calexico
Hosted by the MC Mrs. Green's World!
You don't have to wait for Earth Day to support Arizona's small businesses. Donate to the Local First Arizona Small Business Relief Fund here: https://www.localfirstaz.com/small-business-relief-fund
