On April 22, the world celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day with Climate Action in mind. Climate change represents the biggest challenge to the future of humanity and the life-support systems that make our world habitable. To commemorate Earth Day, Arizona Sustainability Alliance will be holding a digital panel discussion on how urban agriculture supports climate resiliency in Arizona. Moderated by C.J. Hager, Director of Healthy Communities for Vitalyst Health Foundation, our panelists will discuss topics such as their roles in mitigating climate change, challenges and opportunities faced by the urban agriculture sector, and the future of food systems in Arizona.
