  • Plant fruits and vegetables that will be successful for each season

Presented by Laura Ward, The University of Arizona Maricopa County Master Gardener

Laura is a 10th-generation farmer, a Maricopa County Master Gardener, and a licensed home and termite inspector. Laura has lived in both the low and high deserts for the past 16 years, including 10 years in Arizona. She has many animals and poultry on her farm, and is especially proud of her two Clydesdales.

Arizona Master Gardeners are university-trained volunteers who serve as community educators. They work with the University of Arizona providing research based information on environmentally responsible gardening and landscaping to the public. After completing a semester long course, concentrating on gardening and the environment, Master Gardeners Associates volunteer to serve their communities.
