After the video presentation, we will be hosting a live, virtual Q&A roundtable session with Naima Penniman from Soul Fire Farm and several local farmers who will share their experiences, challenges, and their work in motivating and growing fresh food for some of Arizona’s most vulnerable communities.

The virtual keynote weaves the history and structural realities of racial injustice in the food system, with movement strategies past and present of frontlines communities mobilizing for food and land sovereignty.
