The two bills we will be pushing for are the Beginning Farmers Apprenticeship Program (SB1206) and Sustaining the Double Up Food Bucks for SNAP (SB1221).

The Beginning Farmers Apprenticeship Program will support beginning farmers in rural and tribal areas in Arizona and will help ensure the economic viability of these communities. The funds will support the internship program for beginning farmers and ranchers to enter the agricultural workforce.
The bill to sustain the Double Up Food Bucks for SNAP will help ensure that individuals in the program get access to fresh fruits and vegetables while continuing to support farmers.
