Slow Food Phoenix policy and advocacy committee is excited to invite you to a half-day workshop and conversation on how to be engaged at a policy level in the state of Arizona to ensure children and youth get food that is good, clean and fair in schools.
The purpose of this workshop is threefold:
To introduce participants to the legislative process, and how we can be engaged, this will be conducted by our partner legislative advocacy firm Creosote partners.
To start a conversation and network between different entities and organizations currently involved in school feeding/food programs.
To get participants acquainted and engaged with the SFphoenix advocacy agenda (link to the website with agenda).
RSVP here. This is a free event, however, Slow Food phoenix is a non-profit and contributions ($20, $50 or $100) to support this event are welcome.
