Mission Garden’s quinces (membrillos, in Spanish) ripen in October. Join us for one of our biggest festivals of the year! First, if you are not familiar with quinces, you can see the trees laden with fruit at the garden.

3:30 p.m. Josefina Lizarraga does a demonstration of making cajeta de membrillo (sweet quince paste) in the Event Ramada.
3:30 p.m. Lydia Grijalva does a salsa tasting with her spicy homemade quince salsa.
