Susan Sekaquaptewa

University of Arizona Federally Recognized Tribal Extension Program

Susan Sekaquaptewa is Assistant Agent for the University of Arizona’s Federally Recognized Tribal Extension Program, serving the Hopi Tribe.  She manages the Tribal Extension demonstration gardens and hoop houses and teaches high-elevation growing and food preservation classes. Susan is a certified organic gardener, a seed-saver, food preserver and ranches with her husband and son. Susan is a member of the Hopi Tribe.
