Ndée Bikíyaa – The People's Farm, Foster Young Apache Gatherers & White Mountain Apache Farm Co-op

Shalitha Peaches, is from the White Mountain Apache Tribe, where she is involved in multiple impactful projects on our reservation. With 2 years of experience in farm technology, Shalitha makes contributions to the Agricultural field at Ndee Bikiyaa, The People's Farm, serving as the Distribution Manager for 4 years and coordinating the Farmer's Market for 2 years.

One of my key projects is "Fostering Young Apache Gatherers-Elderly in Training." This initiative focuses on educating our young community about the nutritional value of local Apache wild foods, utilizing funding to supply workshops and materials. She also contributes to the White Mountain Apache Farm Co-op, supporting various farmers projects in the different areas in the community.
