Gamyu-ja! Rosemary Sullivan, Hualapai Tribal member, works for the Hualapai Health Education and Wellness Department in Peach Springs, Arizona. She is the Nurse Case Manager for the Diabetes Prevention program and Program Manager for the Tribal Practices for Wellness in Indian Country (TPWIC) program. Rosemary is interested in Food Sovereignty and Food Security, which was enhanced during the Pandemic. After connecting with AZ Food Bank Network in May of 2021, their interest and information pushed my efforts to create the Hualapai Food Security Committee. Also, I am a retired USPHS Nurse Officer (CAPT) having served for thirty (30) years with the Indian Health Service.
