Elyse Guidas
Elyse is Executive Director of Activate Food Arizona, a local non-profit organization which develops and deploys community-based food system solutions to improve the lives of all Arizonans. AFA has extensive experience in expanding access to healthy, affordable food through cross-sector collaborations and partnerships, most notably via its Farm Express Mobile Market program which launched in 2014. Elyse is also Adjunct Faculty at the University of Arizona's Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health where she teaches courses related to public health practice and finance. In her spare time, Elyse is either on her forever hunt for the world's best cup of coffee or exploring outside with her dog, who's convinced the neighborhood cats are plotting to take over the world.
