Desiree Arevalo
Desireé is a queer mixed Indigenous artist born and raised in the west valley of Phoenix, Arizona. They grew up going back and forth between the city and rural southern Arizona, and much of their work is informed by existing in and between the two different realities of urban and rural life in the Sonoran Desert. Desireé now lives in Tucson and works with Flowers & Bullets to revitalize ancestral tradition through land stewardship and community-building.
