Autumn brings a change of season with cooler-weather that is the perfect time for planting dark leafy greens in your garden. Master Gardener Lou Rodarte, focuses his work on local school gardens all throughout the Valley. He’s a vital part of the Slow Food Phoenix initiative, Blue Watermelon Project, where they manage school gardens and co-create curriculums around planting food and how to use them in the kitchen.
