Cultivating Our Heritage
We offer more than 150 varieties of tomato starts, and 100 pepper cultivars, plus a few other veggies and herbs. We also have heirloom tomato and tomatillo seeds. Our specialties include: 1) Endangered heirloom vegetables, including every tomato and pepper boarded on Slow Food USA's Ark of Taste and red-listed by RAFT, the Renewing America's Food Traditions Alliance; 2) Desert tolerant varieties (adapted to heat, drought, low humidity, sunscald, or poor soil); 3) Local and regional heirlooms from the Southwest and Mexico (the most extensive collection on Earth, including many rare Zapotec cultivars).
